Up to $1,750,000 in damage protection. Shuttershare requires you to claim on any commercial insurance plans that both the renter and lister have before you claim on any insurance plan purchased through Shuttershare. If for any reason your policy does not cover the damage Shuttershare will be there.

Shuttershare uses one of the most trustworthy third party ID verification softwares to verify and securely store community member information. Shuttershare also uses Stripe a leading payments platform to verify and securely store the credit card information of each member. Lastly Shuttershare uses machine learning to flag and prevent fraudulent activity from taking place on the platform.
Shuttershare's community team will personally review each new account the first time a rental request is made. We also encourage each Shuttershare community member to do their own research. Look at social media and message the renter to ensure you feel comfortable renting.
Take pictures and or videos which depict the core functionality of each piece of equipment. Ensure they are taken on a device that can timestamp the photos or videos such as your phone camera.
Ask to view and photograph the renters ID when they come to rent. If the ID does not reflect the name listed on the rental, contact Shuttershare customer service via our website or email firstname.lastname@example.org and we can help from there.
